A
native of Michigan, I graduated form St. Louis High School in 1987 and
attended Central Michigan University. I moved here in October of 1993 to
be closer to my nieces, and currently reside in the Ashtabula harbor.
I have
been employed with City of Ashtabula as the Registrar since July of 1996.
My immediate responsibilities are to record all births & deaths which
occur in the city limits, although my job stretches way beyond that, as I
am also the secretarial support for the Health Commissioner, the Nursing
Director, & the Environmental Health Director. No two days in the
health department are the same that is why it is so enjoyable and
interesting.
If you
are looking to research your family tree I have all birth and death
records that have occurred within the city limits dating back to 1909. You
are welcome to come in anytime Monday through Friday from 8:00-12:30 or
1:30-4:30 and I would be happy to assist you.
