U. S. Route 20 in the Village of North Kingsville; Ashtabula, Kingsville and Monroe Townships
(Until further notice)
This work is part of a $2.6 million project to resurface US 20 from SR 11 to the western Conneaut corporation limit. The entire project is scheduled to be complete by mid-October 2009.

West Ave. at the Norfolk Southern railroad crossing

between US20 and SR 84 will close Monday, May 18th

 until mid-October, 2010 for the construction of a bridge

 over the railroad.   The detour will be SR 84 to West 48th St.

 to Park Ave. to Center St. to US 20.   Access to all residences

 and establishments will be maintained during construction.

West Avenue between US Route 20 and SR 84

will have occasional lane restrictions for

preparation work of the upcoming railroad

 grade separation project.  

Also, 52nd, 54th and 55th Streets at West Avenue

are closed until late May.   Detours are posted.    

Access to all residences and establishments

will be maintained during construction. 

 This work is part of a $8.9 million railroad grade

separation project on West Avenue over the

Norfolk Southern railroad.    

The project is scheduled to be complete by August 2010.

Public Notice of Road Work

ODOT Project 088039

West Ave. Railroad Separation

City of Ashtabula

 

As Perk Company, Inc. continues work on ODOT Project 088039

on Monday, May 18, 2009, weather contingent,

we are now scheduled to implement the total closure of

West Avenue from W. 55th St. to W 51st St.   Per prior

notices, this project includes new roadway, sidewalks, drainage,

structures, bridge replacement, lighting, signage and landscape

restoration work on West Avenue and adjacent areas.

 

West Avenue will remain closed in this section of roadway

for approximately 500 days.

 

Travelers are urged to seek alternate routes whenever possible

and to travel cautiously when near the work zones.

Please do not allow children or pets near the working crews

or parked construction equipment.  Your safety and the safety

of our workers is our greatest concern.
