2009 Public Flu Shot Schedule

 

 

Seasonal Influenza Nasal Spray available for HEALTHY people between the ages of 2-49 years.  No Seasonal Influenza injections available. 

Mondays and Wednesdays 9-11AM H1N1 vaccinations for pregnant women and children 6 months-24 years.

Tuesdays and Thursdays 8-11AM H1N1 vaccinations for health care workers Tuesdays and Thursdays 9-11Am H1N1 vaccinations for adults ages 25-64 years with underlying medical conditions.

H1N1 vaccine- registration is available at http://www.odh.ohio.gov. In addition, registration forms must also be filled out at the health department.

We also offer the shots in our office at 4717 Main Avenue every Tuesday & Thursday from 9:00-11:00am

 

Medicare Part B & Medicaid accepted for payment.

Flu ~ $20.00

Pneumonia ~ $45.00

Tetanus ~ $10.00 (needed every 10 years)

Who should get a FLU Vaccination?

 

People who are 65 years old or older -- Even if you're in great health!

 

Children 6 to 23 months old - Children younger than 2 years old have on of the highest rates of hospitalization form influenza.

 

Adults and children with a chronic health condition - Like heart disease, diabetes, kidney disease, asthma, cancer, or HIV/AIDS.

 

Women who will be pregnant during flu season - Flu season is typically November through March.

 

Residents of nursing homes and long-term car facilities

 

Children aged 6 months to 18 years on chronic aspirin therapy

 

Healthcare workers involved in direct patient care

 

Out-of-home caregivers or household contacts of children younger than 6 months
