2026 Comprehensive Plan Update
The City of Ashtabula is embarking on a public engagement process to gather community input for the development of a city-wide Comprehensive Plan. The Plan will be used to guide future policy decisions and development over the next 10 to 15 years. The City is encouraging residents to shape the future of Ashtabula by participating in community surveys and attending the various public meetings held throughout the planning process. Upcoming public engagement opportunities are highlighted below.​​

The City of Ashtabula and the Comprehensive Plan Steering Committee have developed draft recommendations for the 2026 Comprehensive Plan Update.
